A new scientific-innovative cluster has been launched in Kyiv based on the Kyiv Scientific Research Institute for Socio-Economic Development of the City («NDIRoM»). The agreement was signed by representatives of 25 higher education institutions of various ownership forms. This was reported by the «NDIRoM».

The cluster includes leading higher education institutions in the capital, including the Ukrainian State University named after Mikhail Dragomanov, the Kyiv School of Economics, the State Trade and Economic University, among others.

«The main goal of this union is to consolidate efforts to address key issues of Kyiv's development in the scientific-technical and educational spheres. «NDIRoM» will serve as a platform that unites the scientific community, educational institutions, students, and business circles to enhance Kyiv's innovative potential», – said the director of «NDIRoM», Sergey Pavlovsky.

At the meeting, a new project of the Kyiv Development Strategy until 2027 was presented, which focuses on enhancing security, protecting vital systems, inclusivity, and gender equality.

Additionally, the «Become a Student for One Day» project was introduced, allowing prospective students to experience life as a student at their chosen university. After registering on the website, students will be invited to an individual tour and trial day at the educational institution.

«This experience will help graduates make an informed choice about their future profession. We invite all higher education institutions to participate, as such partnerships will promote effective career guidance work», – added Pavlovsky.

He also announced the start of a competition for startups and engineering developments dedicated to using artificial intelligence for management activities. The final will take place at the «PRO:KYIV» conference in December.
