The «Psychological Support» Forum brought together around 500 specialists working in educational institutions and social protection organizations. This was announced by Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration, Petro Olenych, during the event held in Kyiv.

«As part of our initiative, we focus on crisis teams and their activities. This includes numerous field trips and online consultations, as well as training for thousands of teachers. Together with the city team, we continue to implement digital solutions in the field of mental health», Olenych noted.

The forum is part of a joint project between the city government and the Klitschko Foundation.

«The «Psychological Support» initiative is a great example of collaboration between a charity organization and the city administration, allowing us to assist the capital's community. In the context of a full-scale war, our children need special attention to adapt to new realities. The mission of our Foundation is to provide support and hope for a better future. Working through crisis situations with the involvement of psychologists and teachers is the best strategy for achieving this goal. Over six months of the project, 2500 teachers have already undergone training in «Psychological Support». I hope Kyiv will become a model for other regions», emphasized Angelina Osadcha, director of the Klitschko Foundation.

The forum is just a part of the larger «Psychological Support» project, which involves rapid response psychological teams that quickly arrive at schools in case of conflicts or emergencies. In just one month, these teams conducted 20 field trips, primarily due to requests for assistance following attacks on the capital.

It is worth noting that the «Psychological Support» project started in April 2024. It is implemented in collaboration with the Klitschko Foundation, the Department of Education and Science of the KCSA, and with the support of the Department of Information and Communication Technologies of the KCSA.
