The National Police of Ukraine, together with the Security Service and the Ministry of Education, organized a nationwide online lesson for students as part of an awareness campaign to protect children from recruitment threats.

Malicious actors are attempting to lure Ukrainian children into criminal activities. Therefore, students received essential advice on how to identify threats and what actions to take if approached by Russian agents seeking to recruit them for arson, sabotage, or terrorist acts.

Juvenile prevention officers have been conducting an information campaign for several months to raise children's awareness about the dangers of recruitment by enemy special services.

«There are over 12,000 schools in Ukraine, and such lessons are held both online and offline. Make sure to inform your friends and acquaintances about the dangers of recruitment to avoid becoming a tool of hybrid warfare. Knowledge is power», - emphasize the police.

To support children, famous Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk joined the campaign:

«Today, Russian special services want to use you to harm Ukraine. Don't fall for their tricks. Don't allow yourself to be turned into a weapon against your homeland. Being cool means being smart», - said the champion.

He advised the youth to inform their parents, teachers, and reach out to the National Police or SBU if strangers in social networks offer money for dangerous tasks.

«This is how you can protect yourself and your loved ones. Be wise, be strong, and don't let anyone exploit you. We are Ukrainians, and we always win», - called the athlete.
