The company “Avtostrada” has announced progress on the construction site of “Mostytska Station” in the Vynogradar area of Kyiv.
Metro Construction in Vynogradar: Key Information
Currently, work is underway at several sites. Specifically, at the “Mostytska Station,” works have commenced on relocating utilities and constructing a reinforced concrete belt around the pit. Soon, the wall construction in the ground will begin.
Between the “Syrets” and “Mostytska” stations, the drilling of intersection piles for the demolition shaft has been completed, and the construction of the shaft opening and the drilling of dewatering wells have started.
On the segment between “Mostytska” and “Prospekt Pravdy” stations, work is ongoing to lay two-tier monolithic tunnels, as well as pouring concrete for the walls and tunnel ceilings.
At the “Prospekt Pravdy” station, soil stabilization continues in the pit, along with works to install the pit support system and relocate engineering networks.
The project for extending the metro in Vynogradar includes the construction of two new stations - “Mostytska” and “Prospekt Pravdy”.
Tender for Metro Extension in Vynogradar
In May 2024, the “Kyiv Metro” announced a tender for extending the metro network in the Vynogradar area.
In December 2023, “Kyiv Metro” legally terminated its contract with JSC “Kyivmetrobud” due to unsatisfactory construction timelines.
In early November 2024, the “Avtostrada Group of Companies” began construction of the metro for the residential area of Vynogradar. The Syretsko-Pecherska (“green”) metro line will be extended from the “Syrets” station.
Construction of two stations is planned - “Mostytska” and “Prospekt Pravdy”. The total length of the construction will be 3.78 km and will include 6 construction sites.
