The «Kyiv Digital» app has completed a survey regarding dog transportation in the metro.

The survey lasted two weeks, and here are the key findings.

When asked if they own a dog, 45% of respondents answered affirmatively (25% own small dogs, 14% large dogs, and 6% own multiple dogs), while 55% stated they do not have any dogs.

Regarding their support for allowing dog transportation in the metro, 61% expressed full support, 5% supported it only for small dogs in carriers, 26% supported it with clear safety regulations, 7% were completely against, and 1% provided other responses.

Among other questions, users were asked what could ensure comfortable and safe dog transportation in the metro. 36% said mandatory muzzles for large dogs, 35% suggested leashing or using special bags, 17% recommended designated areas in carriages for passengers with dogs, 10% proposed limiting one dog per passenger, and 3% indicated other options.

A total of 101.9 thousand users participated in the «Kyiv Digital» app survey.
