Today, July 27, a rally titled «Free Azov» is scheduled to take place in Kyiv. The event will start at 17:00 on the Naberezhne highway, between the River Port and Park Bridge. The purpose of the rally is to honor the memory of those who lost their lives and to call for the release of the captured defenders of Mariupol, particularly the fighters of the «Azov» regiment.

This was announced by the Association of Families of Defenders of «Azovstal».

On July 28 at 17:00, another event will take place in Kyiv, dedicated to the third anniversary of the terror attack in Olenivka.

«In collaboration with the National Museum of the Revolution of Dignity in Kyiv, we are announcing the reopening of the exhibition «OLENIVKA: the Quintessence of Cruelty». July 28 will mark the Day of Commemoration for the Defenders of Ukraine, including volunteers and civilians who were executed, tortured, or died in captivity.»

The Olenivka attack is one of the most brutal acts committed by Russia against prisoners of war. The mass killing of Azov prisoners occurred on the night of July 28-29, 2022, by Russian occupation forces against unarmed Ukrainian POWs — defenders of «Azovstal» in Mariupol. As a result of this crime, over 50 Ukrainian prisoners lost their lives, and more than 130 were injured.
