The Museum of the History of Kyiv is hosting an exhibition titled «Heart Outward. Blooming Resilience» until August 3. This exhibition highlights the unwavering spirit of Ukrainian women, the mothers and wives of fallen Heroes. It is initiated by the public organization of families of fallen defenders of Ukraine, «Heart Outward».
The museum's director, Victoria Mukha, stated: «This exhibition is dedicated to the mothers and wives of fallen Heroes who raised, supported, and inspired them throughout their lives. Today, they continue to live for them, preserving memories with dignity and love. The vibrant floral images symbolize the lives of those who sacrificed everything for Ukraine’s freedom. Additionally, these are personal memories of families intertwined with pain and pride. The exhibition features twenty stories of Heroes and their families, reflecting a part of our nation's history built on hearts filled with love, dignity, and faith in victory. This serves as a source of support and inspiration for all who have lost loved ones in this war, a call to hold on and unite, and a reminder of the price we pay for freedom and independence.»
