In Kyiv's Svatoshyn district, rescuers have successfully extracted a live man from the ruins of a building destroyed by Russian shelling.

According to the spokesperson of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Kyiv, Pavlo Petrov, the man is likely in his 30s and had been trapped for over 6 hours.

Petrov stated: "We found the young man alive. He was conscious, which helped us locate him."

Petrov added: "We held a moment of silence, and he responded to the voices of the rescuers."
