The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 110 out of 125 drones that Russian forces attacked with on the evening of February 9.
This was reported by the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook.
According to the information, starting from 6 PM on Monday, February 9, the invaders launched 125 strike UAVs, including types such as Shahed, "Gerbera," and "Italmas," from directions including Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Shatalovo, and Millerovo. Approximately 70 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 8:30 AM on Tuesday, February 10, air defense reported the downing or suppression of 110 enemy drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
Impact from 13 strike UAVs was recorded at six locations, with debris falling at two sites.
The attack is ongoing, and enemy UAVs remain in the airspace.
In the Odesa region, a strike on energy infrastructure by Russian forces resulted in partial power outages in three communities.
