On November 29, Kyiv suffered from massive Russian attacks, resulting in damage across 18 locations in seven districts. This was reported by Timur Tkachenko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, on Telegram.
Preliminary reports from medical personnel indicate that there are 35 casualties, including a 10-year-old boy with serious injuries.
"Every loss is painful. The world must know that Russia targets civilians. A hostile drone killed a 42-year-old man, and his son has been hospitalized with burns," Tkachenko stated.
"In the next few days, some of the injured will be discharged, but others remain in critical condition. Doctors are working tirelessly to save lives," he added.
Emergency services have been deployed to all affected locations:
- Headquarters in the Sviatoshyn district: Chistyakivska, 18.
- Headquarters in the Darnytsia district: Kharkiv Highway, 21.
- Headquarters in the Solomyansky district: Air Force Avenue, 41.
- Two mobile headquarters in the Holosiivsky district: Horykhuvatka, 11 and Zabolotnoho, 20a.
District heads are coordinating immediate assistance on-site.
As of 14:00, six apartment buildings, at least two private houses, 11 cars, and a shopping center have been damaged.
Tkachenko emphasized the targeted terror by Russia against residential areas. "Air defense did everything possible to minimize the threat despite the damage and painful losses," he stated.
He also thanked firefighters, police, and all service workers assisting the affected.
