The Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully targeted a factory manufacturing navigation systems for cruise and ballistic missiles, as well as drones, located in the Russian region of Chuvashia. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on social media.
On the night of November 26, Ukrainian units struck the factory "VNDIR-Progress" in Cheboksary, which specializes in the production of various components for missile systems.
The attack resulted in a fire at the facility.
This factory produces GNSS receivers and antennas for navigation systems GLONASS, GPS, and Galileo, including "Comet" modules used in Shahed kamikaze drones, as well as in missiles like "Iskander-M" and "Caliber".
Details regarding the extent of damages are being clarified.
Additionally, Ukrainian drones targeted a command post of one of the units of the 58th Army of the RF in the temporarily occupied Vasylivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, the Tor-M1 air defense missile system in Mariupol, brigade-level ammunition depots in Ocheretyn and Kamyanka, as well as a concentration of Russian personnel in the Pokrovsk direction.
