The air defense forces neutralized 125 out of 162 drones used by the aggressor to attack Ukraine starting from the evening of November 23. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
From 7 PM on Sunday, November 23, the invaders launched an attack with 162 strike UAVs of Shahed, Gerbera type, and other models from various directions: Kursk, Bryansk, Orel, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (RF), and Gvardeyskoye (temporarily occupied Crimea). More than 80 of these were Shahed drones.
The attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary information, as of 9 AM on Monday, November 24, the air defense had shot down / suppressed 125 drones in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of Ukraine.
There were recorded hits of 37 strike UAVs at 15 locations, as well as debris from downed targets at one site.
The most severely damaged were civilian infrastructure and private households in the Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions. There are casualties among the civilian population.
