In Ternopil, the death toll from the combined Russian strike has increased to 19, with 66 individuals injured. This was reported by the State Emergency Service via Telegram.
Among the injured are 16 children. Rescue teams managed to save 45 people.
The city has suffered damage to residential high-rises, as well as industrial and storage facilities. Large fires have broken out.
Over 190 specialists from the State Emergency Service are currently working on-site, including the special unit «Delta», dog handlers, psychologists, medical personnel, and other city services. A total of 38 units of special equipment have been deployed.
Efforts to mitigate the aftermath are ongoing.
