The air defense forces of Ukraine successfully neutralized 405 drones and 14 missiles in response to Russian attacks that began in the evening of November 13. This was reported by the Air Force of Ukraine via Telegram.
Starting from 6:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, Russian forces launched a combined strike against critical infrastructure targets in Ukraine using drones and missiles of various origins. 

Overall, the radio-technical troops of the Air Force detected and accompanied 449 aerial threats – 19 missiles (13 of which were ballistic) and 430 drones of different types (about 300 of them being Shahed drones):

  • 430 strike drones of the Shahed type and others, launched from the following directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, Hvardiyiske (temporarily occupied Crimea);
  • 3 aeroballistic missiles X-47M2 “Kinzhal” (from Ryazan region, Russia);
  • 1 anti-ship missile “Tsirkon”;
  • 6 cruise missiles “Iskander-K/Caliber” (from the temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea/Black Sea waters);
  • 9 ballistic missiles “Iskander-M/KN-23” (from Bryansk region).

The primary target of the strikes was Kyiv. Furthermore, the consequences of the Russian attacks were recorded in the Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions.
Airstrikes were repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

According to preliminary data, as of 9:30 AM on Friday, November 14, air defense had shot down/suppressed 419 aerial targets:

  • 405 enemy drones of the Shahed type and other types;
  • 2 aeroballistic missiles X-47M2 “Kinzhal”;
  • 6 ballistic missiles “Iskander-M/KN-23”;
  • 6 cruise missiles “Iskander-K/Caliber”.

Missiles and 23 drones were confirmed to have hit 13 locations, and debris fell on 44 locations.
The Air Force warns that the attack on Ukraine continues, with new groups of enemy drones detected in the airspace.
