The air defense forces neutralized 206 out of 223 drones used by Russian aggressors to attack Ukraine on the evening of October 31. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
Starting from 6:30 PM on Friday, October 31, Russian invaders launched an attack using 223 strike drones, including types such as Shahed, "Gerbera" and others, from directions including Kursk, Millerovo, Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsk-Akhtarsk (RF), and Hvardiske (temporarily occupied Crimea). Approximately 140 of these were Shahed-type drones.
The air assault was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:30 AM on Saturday, November 1, preliminary data indicated that air defense had downed/neutralized 206 drones in the north, south, and east of Ukraine.
Seventeen strike drones were recorded hitting seven different locations.
In the Poltava region, a fire broke out at one of the gas extraction facilities due to the Russian attack.
