A significant incident occurred in the Moscow region: the "Ring" pipeline has been rendered inoperable. This was reported by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on social media.

On October 31, a special operation by the GUR resulted in the destruction of a critical military infrastructure of Russia - the "Ring" pipeline, which was used to supply resources to the Russian military in their aggressive war against Ukraine.

This strategic facility is located in the Ramensky District of the Moscow region.

Despite the presence of anti-drone nets and militarized security, all three pipelines transporting gasoline, diesel, and aviation fuel exploded simultaneously. GUR emphasized that the pipeline is now out of operation.

Security services and repair crews were dispatched to the explosion site.

According to the report, this successful GUR operation dealt a severe blow to Russia's military capabilities and its economy, particularly in the Moscow region.

The length of the main pipeline is 400 kilometers. Fuel was supplied from the Ryazan, Nizhny Novgorod, and Moscow oil refineries. Annually, the "Ring" had the capacity to pump up to 3 million tons of aviation fuel, approximately 2.8 million tons of diesel fuel, and up to 1.6 million tons of gasoline.
