On the night of October 31, starting from 7:00 PM, Russia conducted a massive assault, launching one ballistic missile and 145 drones. About 90 of these were ‘Shaheds’.
The missile was fired from the Rostov region, while the drones attacked from the directions of Kursk, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and occupied Crimea. This was reported by the Air Force of Ukraine.
‘As of 9:00 AM, preliminary data indicates that the air defense has shot down/neutralized 1 ballistic missile and 107 enemy UAVs of the Shahed type, Gerbera, and other types across the north, south, and east of the country,’ the statement read.
Impacts were recorded at 20 locations, with 36 drones striking. As of the morning, the attack is ongoing.
The aerial assault has been countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
