On the night of October 23, Ukrainian air defense successfully neutralized 92 Russian drones out of 130 launched. Reports indicate that there were 25 hits of strike UAVs in 11 locations. This information was released by the Command of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine via Facebook.
"During the night of October 23 (starting from 19:00 on October 22), the enemy launched an attack with 130 strike UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and other drones from the directions of: Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – RF, Chauda – temporarily occupied Autonomous Republic of Crimea, with about 80 of them being of the Shahed type," the statement reads.
The air attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 08:30, preliminary data indicates that air defense has shot down or suppressed 92 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and other drones in the north and east of the country.
There were 25 hits of strike UAVs recorded in 11 locations, as well as the falling debris from the downed drones in 11 different sites.
