Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that Russian forces launched over 300 drones and 37 missiles during the night, a significant number being ballistic. He shared this in a post on Facebook.

“Russia has used more than 300 attack drones and 37 missiles, many of which are ballistic, targeting vital infrastructure in Vinnytsia, Sumy, and Poltava regions. In Chernihiv region, an attack on Nizhyn damaged a post office, injuring one person. In Kharkiv region, critical infrastructure was hit, with injuries reported. Recovery efforts are currently ongoing,” the President noted.

He also emphasized that Russians employ a tactic of double terror – striking with “Shahed” drones using cluster munitions, aiming to injure firefighters and energy workers engaged in recovery efforts.

Zelensky stressed that this autumn, Russia is attacking Ukrainian infrastructure daily.

“Putin is deaf to everything the world says, so the only language he can understand is the language of pressure. Pressure through sanctions, pressure with long-range weapons. Strong decisions can be made that will help. It depends on the United States, Europe, and all partners whose influence directly affects whether the war will end. Right now, it is crucial to gain momentum for peace in the Middle East. It is also possible in Europe. This is what I will discuss today and tomorrow in Washington,” Zelensky concluded.
