On the night of October 14, the Kirovohrad region was shelled by Russian troops. This attack has resulted in changes to the train schedules. This information is reported by Telegram “Ukrzaliznytsia: suburban trains” and the channel of the head of the Kirovohrad OVA Andriy Raikovych.
“Due to the attack, we have received updates on the suburban train schedules for today,” – the message states.
Ukrzaliznytsia added that some trains will operate on a modified route (without stopping at the Tymkove station):
- №6035/6036 Pomichna – Dolynska (instead of Pomichna – Znamianka);
- №6041 Dolynska – Pomichna;
- №6466/6455 Vysun – Pyatykhatky (instead of Tymkove – Pyatykhatky);
- №6487 Kryvyi Rih – Vysun (instead of Kryvyi Rih – Tymkove);
- №6488 Vysun – Kryvyi Rih (instead of Tymkove – Kryvyi Rih).
Additionally, today several trains in the Kirovohrad region will not be in service, including:
- №6039 Dolynska – Tymkove;
- №6040 Tymkove – Dolynska.
Meanwhile, Andriy Raikovych, the head of the Kirovohrad OVA, reported that Russian forces continue to destroy critical infrastructure in the Kirovohrad region.
“This time, the areas of Dolynska and Novoprazka communities were affected. Fortunately, there are no casualties reported. There is damage to buildings, and 5 settlements are without electricity. Fires at the sites have been extinguished. All services are operating,” he informed.
The State Emergency Service of Ukraine also confirmed the OVA's information, showing photos and clarifying that all fire outbreaks have been extinguished.
