The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 103 out of 118 drones that Russian invaders used to attack Ukraine on the night of October 12. The Ukrainian Armed Forces report this on Telegram.
On the night from October 11 to October 12 (from 8 PM October 11), the enemy launched 118 strike drones of the Shahed type and various imitator drones from the directions of Kursk, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and Hvardiyiske (occupied Crimea), with about 50 of them being Shahed drones, along with an X-31 guided missile from the Zaporizhzhia region.
The air assault was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9 AM, preliminary data indicated that air defense had shot down or suppressed 103 enemy Shahed drones and imitator drones in the north, east, and south of the country.
It was noted that one missile and 15 strike drones were recorded at 10 locations.
“The attack continues – new groups of strike drones are entering from the north and east. Please follow safety measures!,” the Air Forces added.
