Since the evening of October 10, Ukrainian air defense forces have neutralized 54 out of 78 drones employed by Russian invaders in their attacks on Ukraine. This information comes from the Ukrainian Air Forces via Telegram.
Starting at 8 PM on Friday, October 10, the enemy launched 78 strike drones of various types, including Shahed, from locations such as Orel, Millerovo, Kursk (Russia), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Over 40 of these drones were of the Shahed model.
The air assault was countered by electronic warfare units and drone systems, along with mobile fire groups from Ukrainian defense forces.
Preliminary reports indicate that as of 9 AM on Saturday, October 11, air defense forces had downed or suppressed 54 enemy drones across northern, southern, and eastern Ukraine.
Hits from 21 strike drones were recorded at six different locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
