Last night, Ukraine faced a new wave of combined attacks from Russia – over 50 missiles and approximately 500 strike drones were launched. The assault involved cruise missiles, «Shaheds», and particularly «Kinzhal» systems. Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kherson, Odesa, Kirovohrad regions were targeted.

As of now, around 10 people have been reported injured due to the attack, and sadly, five have lost their lives. Our heartfelt condolences go out to all who have lost loved ones due to this terror.

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, in his address.

He stated that rescue and recovery operations are ongoing in the affected areas. The president is receiving regular reports from Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko, Minister for Communities and Territories Development Oleksii Kuleba, regional military administration heads, and Naftogaz CEO Serhii Koretsky.

«I expect rapid and effective action from government officials to address the aftermath in the affected regions», — noted Zelensky.

The President emphasized that today Russians targeted Ukrainian infrastructure again, attacking everything that supports normal life.
«We need more protection, faster implementation of all defense agreements, especially regarding air defense, to neutralize this aerial terror. A unilateral ceasefire in the sky is possible and could pave the way for genuine diplomacy. America and Europe must act to force Putin to stop», — stressed Volodymyr Zelensky.
