On the night of October 2, Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 53 out of 86 enemy unmanned aerial vehicles. This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Forces on their official Telegram channel.
The attack originated from various locations, including Bryansk, Oryol, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Millerovo, featuring Shahed-type drones, "Gerbera," and others.
The air strike was countered by aviation forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, 53 Shahed-type, "Gerbera," and other drones were shot down/neutralized in the northern, southern, and eastern parts of the country.
Hits from 31 strike drones have been recorded at six different locations. The attack is ongoing, with several enemy drones still in the airspace.
