The Ukrainian air defense forces successfully neutralized 44 out of 49 drones launched by Russian forces on September 30. This was reported by the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram.
Starting from 8:30 PM on September 30, the enemy launched an attack with 49 strike UAVs, including Shahed, Gerbera, and other types, from Millerovo, Bryansk (Russia), and Chauda (temporarily occupied Crimea). Additionally, the enemy fired an anti-ship missile "Onyx" from Crimea and four ballistic missiles "Iskander-M/KN-23" from the Oryol region.
The air assault was repelled by aviation, electronic warfare units, UAV systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
As of 9:30 AM on October 1, the air defense had downed 44 drones in the northern, eastern, and central regions of the country.
