On the night of September 23, starting from 21:00 on September 22, the enemy launched an attack using three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles and 115 strike drones of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and others, originating from the following areas: Kursk, Oryol, Milleryovo, Shatalovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk in the Russian Federation, and from Hvardijske in temporarily occupied Crimea, with approximately 60 of them being Shaheds. UAVs, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces actively countered the aerial assault.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00, the air defense has shot down or suppressed 103 enemy drones of the Shahed, Gerbera types, and others in the northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.
Rocket strikes and 12 attack UAVs were recorded at six locations, along with debris from downed drones falling at eight locations.
