In Ukraine, as a result of the ongoing war, 224 artists and 111 media professionals, both Ukrainian and foreign, have lost their lives.

This information was released by the Ministry of Culture and Strategic Communications.

The ministry emphasizes that these figures not only reflect the magnitude of the losses but also remind us of the tragic chapters in Ukrainian history. Just as the Stalinist regime destroyed a generation of Ukrainian artists in the 20-30s, today Russia is deliberately targeting Ukraine's cultural elite.

On the front lines, near the village of Yunakivka in the Sumy region, actor and serviceman Andriy Synishyn from Lviv theaters has died.
