On the evening of August 14, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using two "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles and 97 strike drones of the Shahed type, along with various imitator drones. While two-thirds of the drones were intercepted, 34 managed to hit their targets.

This information was shared by the Ukrainian Air Force via Telegram.
According to the Air Force's statement: "Preliminary data as of 08:00 indicates that our air defense has shot down 63 enemy Shahed drones and imitator drones in the northern and eastern regions of the country. We recorded missile hits and 34 UAV strikes at 13 different locations."

The missiles were launched from the Voronezh and Bryansk regions of Russia, while the drones were deployed from the Russian cities of Kursk, Oryol, Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, and Shatalovo.

The drones targeted frontline areas in Kharkiv, Sumy, Donetsk, and Chernihiv regions, while the missiles struck Kharkiv and Chernihiv.

Air defense was provided by aviation, electronic warfare units, mobile fire groups, and UAVs within the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
