On the evening of August 4, Russian forces launched a significant attack on Ukraine using the "Iskander-M" ballistic missile and 46 Shahed-type drones. Out of these, 29 drones were intercepted, yet some managed to hit their targets.
This information was shared by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.
According to the report: "As of 08:00, our air defense has shot down/neutralized 29 enemy Shahed drones and various imitation drones in the northern and eastern regions.
There were confirmed hits from 17 drones in the east, along with 1 ballistic missile, and debris from downed drones was found in three locations in the southern and northeastern areas."
Details: The invaders launched their drones from Russian cities such as Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, while the missile was fired from the Bryansk region.
The aerial attack was countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
