Since the evening of July 28, Ukrainian forces have faced renewed assaults as Russian occupiers launched 2 "Iskander-M" ballistic missiles and 37 strike drones of the Shahed type. 32 of these drones were neutralized, though some still hit their targets.

This was reported by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram.

According to the Air Force: "As of 9:00 AM, our air defense has downed 32 Shahed drones (and other types) in the northern and eastern regions of the country.

5 drones and 2 missiles were confirmed to have struck 3 locations, with debris falling at 2 of them".

The attackers launched missiles from the Rostov region of Russia and the temporarily occupied Crimea, while drones were deployed from the Russian cities of Oryol and Kursk, as well as from Hvardiske in Crimea.

These attacks were countered by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
