On the night of July 28, Ukrainian air defense successfully destroyed 309 of the 324 Russian drones launched, along with two Kh-101 cruise missiles.

Starting from 19:30 on July 27, the enemy launched an attack using 331 aerial attack means: 324 UAVs, 4 cruise missiles, and 3 ballistic missiles.

The Russian forces employed 324 Shahed type strike drones and imitator UAVs from various directions including Bryansk, Kursk, Orel, Millerovo, Shatalovo, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk.

Four Kh-101 cruise missiles were launched from the airspace of the Saratov region, while three Kh-47 M2 "Kinzhal" ballistic missiles were fired from the Lipetsk region.

The main target of the attack was Staroconstaniv in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Air defense operations were conducted by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups of the Ukrainian defense forces.

According to preliminary data by 09:30, air defense had destroyed or suppressed 311 enemy aerial attack means: 309 strike drones and two Kh-101 missiles.

Hits from two different types of missiles and 15 strike drones were recorded in three locations, as well as debris from the downed drones at several sites.

"The Kh-47 M2 ballistic missiles did not reach their targets!" emphasized the Air Forces.
