During the past week, Ukrainian regions were subjected to strikes from Russian forces, utilizing over 1800 drones, more than 1200 aerial bombs, and 83 missiles of various types.
This was reported by President Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
Zelensky emphasized that over these seven days, Russia continues to terrorize Ukrainian cities in an attempt to instill fear in the population.
However, despite these attacks, he noted the effectiveness of air defense, particularly interceptor drones that have successfully destroyed hundreds of enemy drones.
The President also stated that meetings with international partners were focused on scaling up protective technologies.
He thanked everyone willing to support Ukraine and the military personnel safeguarding the airspace.
Zelensky pointed out that the "Shaheds" are one of the tools Russia uses to prolong the war, and he urged active measures to neutralize this threat so that diplomatic efforts can become more effective.
He also expressed hope for the fulfillment of all agreements that will strengthen Ukraine's defense capabilities, as well as decisive actions from the USA, Europe, and the G7 countries.
As reported, on the night of July 12, Ukrainian cities were attacked, resulting in Russia launching 26 cruise missiles and 597 drones.
