In Kyiv, traffic has been restricted on five streets after a nighttime Russian attack, and several trolleybus routes have been modified.

This was reported by the Patrol Police and the Kyiv City Administration via Telegram.

Specifically, traffic has been closed on the following streets:

  • Volnovaskaya (from the intersection with Vatslav Havel Boulevard);
  • Kozheletska (from the intersection with Mykola Vasylenko Street);
  • Sichovykh Striltsiv (from the intersection with Studentska Street to the intersection with Mykola Pymonenko Street);
  • Yuri Illienko (from the intersection with Dehtyarivska Street to the intersection with Mytrofan Dovnar-Zapolsky Street);
  • Olexi Tykhyi (from the intersection with Chuhuivskyi Lane to the intersection with Hrushetska Street).

Additionally, some trolleybus routes have been adjusted due to the aftermath of the Russian strike.

  • Due to damage to the contact network near the "Beresteiska" metro station, trolleybuses No. 4, 5, and 7 will run to the "Nivky" metro station.
  • Due to damage to the contact network at the intersection of Sichovykh Striltsiv and Vyacheslav Chornovil Streets, trolleybuses No. 6, 18, and 33 will run to the "Pochaina" metro station, while No. 16 will run to Oranzhereina Street.
  • Routes for trolleybuses No. 19 and 35 have been organized along Oleny Telihy, Vadym Hetman, and Chokolivskyi Boulevard, and then will continue on their regular routes.
  • Due to damage from a cargo vehicle on Akademika Zabolotnoho Street, trolleybuses No. 11 will be rerouted to the Cybernetics Center.

Additionally, the movement of trolleybuses No. 23, 28, 31, and No. 15 is temporarily suspended.

The Kyiv City Administration and police urge residents to understand the situation and take the temporary changes into consideration when planning their routes.
