Evacuation teams of the police "White Angels" carried a woman along with her 12 dogs from the dangerous border area of the Sumy region.

Galina Oleksandrivna was the last resident on her street, living among the ruins of buildings destroyed by shelling and constant danger, as reported by the police of the Sumy region.

The woman was afraid to live under fire but couldn't leave because she couldn't abandon her 12 dogs, who had become her family.

Many urged Galina to evacuate without the animals, but she remained steadfast: "Either all of us, or none at all."

She called everyone she could for help but received refusals. Some could not reach the dangerous area, while others could not arrange transportation for so many animals.

However, the crew of the "White Angel" did not leave the woman in distress. The police arrived at the village and evacuated Ms. Galina along with all her four-legged friends.

Now the woman is in a safer place with her beloved pets.

"Saying goodbye to the police at her new shelter, she sincerely thanked them for their help and support during the hardest moments of her life," police reported.

It is worth noting that earlier, a 70-year-old man brought three cows and a dog out of the Donetsk region. He was heading to Poltava, but near Izyum, he was spotted by volunteers who assisted with his evacuation.
