Due to an enemy attack on the capital during the night of May 7, two people have died and eight have been injured, including four children.

Statement from the State Emergency Service: "Rescue teams operated in the Sviatoshynskyi, Solomianskyi, Shevchenkivskyi, and Dniprovskiy districts".

Details: In the Sviatoshynskyi district, debris struck a nine-story residential building, causing fires on the 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th floors. The fire was extinguished over an area of 100 square meters.

Statement from the State Emergency Service: "Five people were rescued – one adult and four children (three children with burns were hospitalized). Rescue operations are ongoing".

Details: In the Solomianskyi district, drone debris fell on open ground.

In the Dniprovskiy district, a drone crashed into a high-rise building, resulting in partial destruction of the ceilings on the 29th and 30th floors.

According to rescuers, there were no fires or injuries.

In the Shevchenkivskyi district, debris fell on a five-story residential building, resulting in fires on the 3rd and 5th floors.

Statement from the State Emergency Service: "During firefighting, the bodies of two individuals were discovered. The fire has been extinguished".

Update: Later, Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that the number of injured in the capital has risen to eight.

"Another woman has been hospitalized. Prior to this, three children were hospitalized. Thus, four individuals have received medical assistance. Two residents of the capital died as a result of the enemy attack," the mayor summarized.
