On Infantry Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President Volodymyr Zelensky met with soldiers and families of fallen heroes, presenting state awards and promoting three officers.

Details: According to the documents, the military rank of brigadier general was awarded to:
- Deputy Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel Viktor Solimchuk,
- Head of the 169 Training Center named after Prince Yaroslav the Wise of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Colonel Oleksiy Maistrenko,
- Commander of the 19th Army Corps of the Operational Command "South" of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Colonel Oleksandr Bakulin.
Quote from Zelensky: "Ukraine stands strong because of the courage of the Ukrainian infantry – they fight, defeat the invader, protect and restore our positions, carrying out brilliant operations that will become a part of world military history – your history, the history of the brave".
Details: The President also awarded the "Golden Star" to the Heroes of Ukraine – Junior Lieutenant Vladislav Datsky and Junior Sergeant Mykola Molchanov.
Separately, Zelensky presented the "Golden Star" order to the families of three fallen Heroes of Ukraine: Yaroslav Khybovsky, Vasyl Yaremko, and Ivan Holubka.
The head of state emphasized that Ukraine will always honor its heroes and urged everyone to remember the fallen.
