CDTO Campus has established a memorandum with the Global Government Technology Centre (Berlin). This partnership is set to facilitate the exchange of expertise in digital transformation and the development of joint initiatives.

The educational programs of CDTO Campus will play a key role in training Germany's digital leaders. The GovTech Campus Deutschland, alongside TUM Think Tank, will incorporate unique Ukrainian experiences into its educational framework for preparing professionals in digitalization.

Moreover, the memorandum signed by Halyna Pustova, Viktor Lyakh, and Manuel Kilian outlines a close collaboration in the areas of digital security and the protection of public services. Ukraine will share its distinctive solutions in cybersecurity, including experiences in migrating government services to the cloud, implementing digital documents, and mechanisms for resilience against cyberattacks.

Valeriya Ionan, the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation for European Integration, also participated in the event.

It’s worth noting that CDTO Campus is a national educational initiative aimed at preparing Chief Digital Transformation Officers (CDTOs), a new kind of civil servant and public sector specialists focused on implementing innovative projects in public administration and overall national digitalization.

In 2024, CDTO Campus aims to train 440 digital transformation leaders and launch 12 programs, some developed in collaboration with leading companies like Microsoft, Cisco, Apolitical, and other international partners.

CDTO Campus is implemented by the Eastern Europe Foundation, funded by the Visa Foundation, the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), and supported by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in cooperation with Digitality GovTech Centre of Excellence, under the patronage of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
