Nova Post has rolled out an AI-based tool that captures the status of each branch daily and reports on compliance with standards.
According to Forbes Ukraine, R&D Director of Nova Post, Yevhenii Khomenko, this has significantly reduced costs associated with physical inspections by management while enhancing service quality.
Prior to this tool's implementation, the company relied on conventional inspection methods, where a regional manager would visit partner branches after giving prior notice. "He arrives, and everything looks perfect, but client feedback often tells a different story," he noted.
Khomenko explained that Nova Post has implemented a technology that enables automatic monitoring of compliance with standards—each branch is equipped with cameras and must meet specific criteria outlined in a checklist.
The AI takes daily photos of all branches and analyzes them for standard compliance. "Where is our employee? Are they in uniform? Are marketing materials in place? Is the trash bin overflowing?" Khomenko elaborated.
The expert emphasized that thanks to automation, the company has significantly reduced the time and resources spent on quality control across various branches and improved service quality. "We train our AI models to provide recommendations that enhance interactions with business partners. Some partners were let go because technologies, especially AI, can replace their services," the executive concluded.
According to Nova Post data from July 31, 2025, during the first half of 2025, the operator processed 238 million parcels and freight, which is a 7% increase compared to the same period in 2024. From January to September 2025, the company increased its consolidated net profit by 35.1% compared to the same period last year—to 2.876 billion UAH; consolidated net revenue rose by 21.7% to 45.727 billion UAH.
As previously reported, Nova Post is preparing to test entirely new models of parcel machines. There are four solutions under consideration: plastic parcel machines, modular foam constructs, custom drop boxes, and CONVENIQ.
All these solutions are currently being prepared for testing in Ukraine. If successful, these innovations will be rolled out in cities and villages across the country, the largest commercial logistics company in Ukraine stated recently.
Additionally, starting December 1, 2025, Nova Post will update its tariffs. The adjustment is necessary to maintain service speed and quality. However, tariffs for parcel deliveries under 2 kg and shipments from towns or villages will remain unchanged.
