The Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine has partnered with NVIDIA to advance artificial intelligence development in the country. This was announced by the ministry's press service.
“We are collaborating with NVIDIA, the global leader in artificial intelligence technology, to launch a joint initiative. Our goal is to establish an independent AI infrastructure that meets the needs of our nation,” the statement said.
It is emphasized that NVIDIA's expertise will enable the deployment of innovative and secure solutions for public administration and defense sectors.
The first step will be the development of Diia AI LLM - a unique language model tailored to Ukrainian legislation and citizen needs. All AI services within the “Diia” ecosystem will rely on Diia AI LLM, including the already introduced AI assistant and upcoming solutions for the mobile application and government needs.
As part of this project, Ukraine will gain access to NVIDIA's specialized software stack for AI product development - from infrastructure to software; technical support to accelerate model training and reduce costs; as well as consulting from the NVIDIA team, including expert participation in structured workshops and architectural reviews.
An AI Factory will be established in Ukraine - a platform where key public services utilizing artificial intelligence, particularly the AI assistant in “Diia,” will be developed. In the future, this infrastructure will also support an AI tutor in “Mriya,” and will be used for projects in defense, science, and medicine.
