The UA DroneID identification and coordination system, developed by the organization "Aerorozvidka" in collaboration with Cossack Labs, decreases the likelihood of drone loss on the battlefield by 90%. According to Defence Media, this technology, introduced in 2023, is actively utilized on the front lines. The system operates in real-time, transmitting crucial data including mission information and operational results, which helps avoid friendly fire incidents.
UA DroneID is compatible with various platforms, ranging from reconnaissance drones to ground robotic systems. Currently, over 15 manufacturers are integrated into the ecosystem, with many more in the process.
Cossack Labs is responsible for the protocol architecture and data protection, while the Ministry of Digital Transformation supports manufacturers and the Ministry of Defense coordinates the overall process. "Aerorozvidka" along with the Innovation Center works on integration with DELTA.
Future plans include protocol scaling, increasing the number of compatible platforms, enhancing positioning accuracy, and strengthening security measures, including physical protection of modules.
Earlier, there were reports of a new drone detector "PES Sirko", which operates alongside EW systems.
