Ukrainian developers have created a new program called Clarity, which utilizes artificial intelligence technology to autonomously detect military equipment and enemy presence. This was announced by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, Mykhailo Fedorov.

“Previously, analysts spent hours manually analyzing drone intelligence data. Ukrainian developers found a solution. Meet Clarity – a groundbreaking AI program for analyzing photo and video data,” he stated.

According to Fedorov, the program can independently identify military equipment and signs of enemy presence in images and videos, significantly speeding up the target engagement chain and saving up to 90% of analysts' time. It operates on standard laptops.

Fedorov also mentioned that the development team won a pre-seed startup competition from Brave1, which provided funding for the enhanced version of the program, Clarity Pro.

Key features of Clarity Pro include:

  • decoding photos and videos in seconds;
  • associating images with map coordinates;
  • automatically generating and decoding orthophotos.

As reported by Mykhailo Fedorov, Clarity is already being used by over 250 pilots and analysts from units like “Achilles,” “Nemesis,” and “Rubizh.” The program is continually improved based on their feedback.

Recently, Brave1 also announced the launch of competitions aimed at developing explosives manufacturing, autonomous drones, as well as tactical ballistic missiles and air defense systems. The budget for these projects could reach 100-150 million UAH.

Furthermore, Mykhailo Fedorov stated that a new air-to-air defense complex is being created to protect Ukrainian airspace, capable of safeguarding large areas.
