On July 30, the American company SpaceX launched another 28 Starlink satellites into space.
According to Space.com, the Falcon 9 rocket lifted off from the Florida launch site at 06:37 Kyiv time. The first stage of the rocket successfully landed on a drone ship in the Atlantic Ocean minutes after launch. The second stage continued to its designated orbit. Currently, there are over 8,050 active Starlink satellites in low Earth orbit, out of more than 9,300 launched since 2018. This launch marked SpaceX's 96th mission in 2023, with nearly all (except for three) conducted on Falcon 9 rockets.
This week, the company plans to execute two more launches: another Starlink mission from California and a “Crew-11” mission with astronauts to the International Space Station from the Florida launch site.
