Recently, Samsung revealed modifications to its account policy, set to take effect on July 31, 2025. The primary alteration involves the deletion of accounts that have been inactive for 24 months, as noted by Sammobile.
If a user has not logged into their Samsung account or utilized it for authorization in the company's services over the past two years, their account will be deemed inactive and subject to deletion. Subsequently, access to the account will be terminated, and all associated data will be irretrievably lost.
To prevent account deletion, Samsung advises users to log into their accounts before July 31 or engage with any of the company's services requiring authorization. Additionally, the company will send email reminders to owners of inactive accounts.
This policy aims to enhance the security of user data for those who have not engaged with their accounts for an extended period. Therefore, users who have not accessed their Samsung accounts in a while should check their activity status to avoid losing access.
