Following the latest week of European competitions, Ukraine has successfully gained crucial points in the UEFA coefficient tables. Thanks to Shakhtar's victory over Shamrock Rovers, the nation added 0.5 points, allowing us to rise to the 25th position, surpassing Azerbaijan and Slovenia.
However, another Ukrainian team, Dynamo Kyiv, suffered a defeat against Cypriot Omonia, failing to improve the situation in the coefficient table this week.
It's worth noting that Ukraine began its European campaign in 28th place, which grants 4 spots in the qualifiers (one in the Champions League, one in the Europa League, and two in the Conference League). Eight associations were within three points, including disqualified Russia, which continues to earn points every season (4.333 points).
