A remarkable start for Ukrainian athletes at the European Championships in modern pentathlon (biathlon/triathlon and laser run) in Alanya, Turkey.

On the first day of the competition, our athletes secured 13 medals in the laser run:

• «Gold»: Kyryl Potashko (U17, boys, individual competition); Oleg Ryback (U19, boys, individual competition); Milana Lurtsi-Ogli (junior girls, individual competition); Vladyslav Chekan (men, individual competition); Kyrylo Pidopryhora and Kyryl Potashko (U-17, men's relay); Valeria Permikina and Milana Lurtsi-Ogli (adults, women's relay).
• «Silver»: Yevа Chayka (U17, girls, individual competition); Kyrylo Pidopryhora (U17, boys, individual competition); Maksym Kovalchuk (U19, boys, individual competition); Danylo Syich (juniors, individual competition);
• «Bronze»: Oleksandr Chenyshev (U19, boys, individual competition); Anastasiia Chyzova (women, individual competition); Vladyslav Chekan and Valeria Permikina (adults, mixed relay).
