The location for Ukraine's nominal home match in the World Cup 2026 qualifiers has been confirmed. The national team will face Iceland on November 16. This was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian Football Association.
The match will take place in Warsaw at the "Legia" stadium, where our team has yet to play. The venue has a capacity of just under 32,000 spectators and is home to the local FC Legia.
Tickets for the game will go on sale soon.
It is worth noting that the match of the 4th round of the World Cup 2026 qualifiers between Ukraine and Azerbaijan ended with a score of 2:1 in favor of Ukraine. In the first round of qualification, Ukraine lost to France 0:2, then drew 1:1 with Azerbaijan and defeated Iceland 5:3.
