Pavlo Korostylyov, a 27-year-old shooter from Lviv, claimed gold at the European Shooting Championship finals. According to the press service of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the competition took place in Istanbul, Turkey.
Korostylyov triumphed in the SOLO event using a pneumatic pistol at a distance of 10 meters.
Under the guidance of coaches Serhiy Korostylyov and Oleksandr Kaminsky, he confidently advanced to the semifinals, scoring 19 points and outpacing competitors from Germany, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.
In the final, Pavlo Korostylyov secured 15 points, defeating Turkey's Mustafa Inan, who scored 13 points.
