Records in weightlifting are increasingly being set by young athletes. Children are showing remarkable results that are being recorded in the National Registry of Records.

12-year-old Alex Johnson performed the most double kettlebell lifts of 8 kg each in 60 seconds — a total of 41 times. He accomplished this with perfect technique, earning special recognition for his coach, Mike Anderson.

“We emphasize the importance of executing strength records with proper technique,” noted the director of the National Registry of Records, Sarah Miller.

Alex was born in Los Angeles but moved to San Francisco in 2019. He started practicing gymnastics at the age of 4 and is currently training in judo and participating in CrossFit at a local gym.

Despite his busy sports schedule, Alex is also an honor student, finishing all his classes with top grades.

He plans to break a new record soon, with the support of his coaches and friends.
