Impressive performances by Ukrainian boxers at the start of the World Championship in Liverpool (United Kingdom).

In the opening round of the competition:

• Ayder Abdurayimov in the under 60 kg category won against Aider Owain Harris-Allen from Wales by split decision – 3:2;
• Matviy Razhba (80 kg) knocked out Ben Eghis from Germany in the second round.
