At the 2025 World Games, Ukrainian athletes once again showcased their remarkable talents in powerlifting!

In the heavyweight category, Konstantin Musienko emerged as the champion, setting a new competition record, while Vladimir Risev claimed the silver medal.

Konstantin Musienko achieved a squat of 390 kg, a bench press of 330 kg, and a deadlift of 320 kg, scoring 113.19 points according to the IPF formula.

Vladimir Risev recorded a squat of 387.5 kg, a bench press of 315 kg, and a deadlift of 327.5 kg, totaling 110.63 points based on the IPF formula.

The bronze medal was secured by Jan Bell from the USA.

This marks Vladimir Risev's third medal at the World Games: he previously won gold in Birmingham 2022 and silver in Wroclaw 2017.
